<H3>Ants!</H3>

<P>
We did some <a href=bugmen.htm>sci-fi bugmen</a> a while back
by adding cheap plastic bug heads to VOID Viridian figures.  Well,
we still had bugs left, so we looked for something else to 
combine them with.

The heads are just boring old plastic bug heads, and the bodies
are GW Savage Orc bodies I got from
<a href=http://www.hoardobits>Hoard o' Bits</a>.
It took a little knedatite to fill in the gaps where the extra
arms were shoved on, but I think it was worth the effort to give these
guys six limbs.

The paint job is nothing spectacular.  Most of mine aren't.  But
some basic techniques like two toning and using a dark wash really
bring out the details in the Savage Orc sculpt.  The classic red
ant coloring and bronze weapons will also go well with a lot of my
Martian figures and terrain.
