These are Seekers of Slaanesh mounts from 40K. They are some type of lizard
thing that scary demons ride. I got a bunch cheap with a lot of mounts
but not enough riders. Plus a bunch of bits.
I like the design, but I don't like the identical nature of the figures.
I think I can do something about that.
NO ONE SHOULD EVER DO THIS. DO NOT REPEAT. THIS IS A BAD IDEA. IF YOU
BREATHE IN TOXIC FUMES/BURN YOURSELF/YOUR HOUSE ... DON'T BLAME ME!
So, shiny happy feelings to all. But I did get a candle to soften the necks
of the mounts and bend them in different directions a little. Also, the
tongues bend without softening.
A little variety. Nice.
Wait ... that guy doesn't ride that thing!
No, but if you dig out the saddle a little and cut back his bell bottoms ...
You can get him up on for a ride. I think it gives off that
Vaughn Bodē
vibe from
Wizards.
Also, I will have a few unmounted ones. But I don't like the saddle
without a rider. So a little greenstuff will fill in.
OK ... So these are the appropriate demons on the mounts. I only got five
riders.
I also got five of them standing, so I gave them the same pairs of wierd arms.
That way I can use the unmounted ones and the empty mounts to do one for one
mounted/dismounted.
And bits from the demons. I think the head and color scheme make this figure
fit in with the others.
And, last but not least, Speeece Mareeenez on the mounts.
More Iron Snakes. The five extra mounts made half a squad.
